Philadelphia Whitemarsh RFC (8-0) completed their undefeated season with an exclamation point in a 78-12 win over Wilkes Barre RFC (4-4). With the win, PW was crowned EPRU Division III champions and earned a #1 seeding for the MARFU playoffs in the spring. Nine players accounted for 12 tries for PW and flanker Kevin Denehy won Man of the Match honors for PW.

PW will hosting the 7th sort-a annual rugby banquet and hall of fame induction. It is also the 10th anniversary of the 1999 PW 7s National Championship and the 20th anniversary of the club's appearance in the national championship game.
With a successful regular season in the books, it's time to start training for next season's slate of matches. We'll be conducting winter workouts at YSC again this year - it'll be a great way to not only stay in shape, but get in better shape before next season and give us an even greater advantage once the matches begin.

Philadelphia Whitemarsh RFC (4-0) continued their undefeated march through the EPRU Freedom Division on Saturday with a 67-13 win on the road against Lehigh Valley RFC (1-3). Eight players tallied 11 tries for PWRFC along with 6 conversions by man of the match, Jim Rosato.

Philadelphia Whitemarsh saw their season come to and end earlier than they would have liked this past weekend, losing to the Saratoga Stampede 28-19 in the USA Round of 16 in Virginia Beach on Saturday before defeating the Chicago Riot in a seeding match 32-17 on Sunday. Storms on Saturday morning delayed the match an hour, making for a slippery ball in windy conditions.
Philadelphia Whitemarsh RFC took a big step forward Saturday against a perennial EPRU power. PWRFC (3-0) stayed unbeaten and handed Old Gaelic RFC (1-1) their first Fall loss in 4 years with a 34-28 victory. PW persevered with a whole team effort. They capitalized on Old Gaelic’s mistakes and held off a late Old Gaelic push to walk of the pitch the victors.
