About Scrum for Six
The Scrum for Six is an annual rugby event held at the home pitch of Brandywine Rugby Club. Now in its 13th year, the tournament benefits the ALS Association for the purpose of researching a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. ALS took the life of Michael Bartone in 2003 and the tournament has been held every year since in his honor.
There will be three games scheduled for the day (men's side, old-boys' side and women's side) to began at 11 a.m.
Admission is $5 per person and $10 per family. We will also be selling food and cups for beer. Cups are $10 with unlimited refills thereafter.
In addition to the rugby matches, there will be tons of food and beverages for sale, including sausage and pepper sandwiches, porkette, roast beef and beer ($10 per cup with unlimited refills). This year we will be offering beer from Doylestown Brewing Company, as well as other domestics.
This is a family friendly event and all are welcome, however, anyone under the age of 21 will be prohibited from consuming alcoholic beverages.
