It was a good weekend for PWRFC at Surfside Sevens. The barbeque pit was smokin all day with great food and lots of visitors. The pulled pork was most excellent.

PW continues in the D2 of the MAC conference after a successful spring season. Aug. 11 is the first official training session. Gareth is coming in from Wales the following week (Aug 17th) and there are some potential tournaments/friendlies to get us prepared for our Sep 12th season opener. Full match schedule »

North Penn Sevens

PW had great day of rugby at the North Penn 7's tournament this last Saturday. Having little to no practice at 7's, we started slow against two quality opponents but finished strong winning 2 of our last three...eventually (barely) losing in the Plate Final to Doylestown due to some injuries, etc.

The 2015 Annual General Meeting took place Wednesday June 10th, 7 p.m. at the Tilted Kilt KOP upstairs. Officers were elected and club business and finances were covered.

The Beef and Beer originally scheduled for May 2 has been moved to June 6. It will be 6 p.m. at Barnaby’s in Aston, Pa. from 6 to 10 p.m.

Thursday night touch rugby sessions will continue this summer at 8 p.m., Heuser Park, KOP. Heuser Park is located on Geerdes Blvd. in King of Prussia. Bring boots and rugby shorts.

PWRFC is played sevens vs. Lafayette College 5/20 at Heuser Park in KOP.

It was a friendly — three games with rolling subs and no one keeping official score. A great recruiting event and a way to help a local club get some additional training sessions in.

Philly-Whitemarsh played two matches with Brandywine RFC May 2 during the annual Scrum for Six tournament. The PW regular men's side defeated Brandywine 32-15.
